A new generation of gaming consoles has arrived, and now you can pick one up for a mere £100 (or $140) if you’ve got a high-end PC.
As we reported in July, Microsoft has just announced the Xbox One S, the next-gen console that will arrive in March 2017.
It features a new processor and GPU from AMD that make it even faster than the Xbox 720, and has a whopping 16GB of GDDR5 memory that is clocked at 8Gbps.
The Xbox One console will also include 4K video recording, a 4K Blu-ray drive, HDR10 support and a built-in audio player.
The new console will come with an impressive array of games and experiences, including some of the best games of the year.
Here are some of our favourite titles that are available right now.
The console will include a powerful Nvidia GeForce 860M GPU with 1,280 stream processors, an 8Ghz core clock and 64 texture units, as well as 512MB of GDDR3 memory and 256MB of memory bandwidth.
It also features a slew of additional features that include two USB-C ports, four Thunderbolt 3 ports, and a USB-3.1 Gen 2 connector.
In terms of games, Microsoft will also be releasing two new Xbox exclusive titles, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Horizon 4, along with a host of other titles that will be coming to the console.
These new titles are available for a price of £119.99 (about $146.79).
You can pre-order the Xbox one S right now and pick one of the games up for £99.99, or you can get a £40 discount for a limited time by visiting the Xbox Store.
The rest of the list of games that are coming to Xbox One will be announced closer to launch, and there are some exclusives that are still to come.
We’ll have more on all of the Xbox console’s titles as they come out.
