Apple will open an outlet in the heart of Chicago in the wake of the terrorist attacks that rocked the city, the company announced Monday.
The store will be located on the corner of Chicago Avenue and Michigan Street in the Loop.
Apple has previously opened stores in other major American cities, including Los Angeles, Atlanta and Miami, and plans to expand its offerings in other parts of the world, including Japan and Hong Kong.
Apple CEO Tim Cook visited the Twin Cities last year to attend the opening of the Apple Store.
